Mr. Vest is co-owner of Outdoor Connections. He works as a Licensed Administrator at a Crisis Facility for adults with developmental disabilities and is studying to become a certified personal trainer. When not working, Riley enjoys physical fitness in many forms such as biking, basketball, running, and racquetball. After completing his first Marathon in December 2022, he is now aspiring to cross the finish line of a half iron-man in 2024. Not many can rival his dance moves!
Mrs. Hernandez is an Event Coordinator at SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity and Digital Media/Event Manager at Responsible Hospitality Institute editing videos, as well as preparing both small and large scale events. In her free time, Susan enjoys both being close with friends and family, as well as hiking, exploring new places, cooking, and attempting new challenges. She is also very dedicated to establish her real estate career as well. It is rare to find someone who is both a webmaster whiz and a social butterfly like her!
Mr. Takeuchi works as the Operations Analyst for Outdoor Connections. He also works as Senior Associate, Development & Operations at Foundation for a College Education writing grant applications and managing their Salesforce database. In his free time, Rick can been seen long-distance running, traveling, reading, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. Watch out when he serenades on the saxophone!
Kathryn (she/they) is the photographer for Outdoor Connections. For the last five years, they have been exploring all that the Sacramento area has to offer and have discovered a love for urban photography! Kathryn focuses on natural light portraiture and loves to work with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community on couple and individual photo shoots - pets always welcome! Kathryn spends their days working as a Project Manager at a local nonprofit advocating for environmental justice and healthy built environments. In her free time, you can find her biking around midtown, making jewelry, picking up new artistic hobbies, and paddleboarding on the American River.
