When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other customers. Therefore, it is important that you review our cancellation policy prior to purchasing your picnic experience so that there are no surprises. We want you to have the best possible customer experience with Outdoor Connections Picnic Company.
Full refund: A 100% refund will be assessed for any cancellations made within 48 hours after booking your picnic experience. All bookings must be made 5 days in advance.
Partial refund: A 50% refund will be assessed for any cancellation made before and up to 14 days prior to your picnic event.
No refund: Any cancellations made within 14 days of your picnic event will result in no refund.
*We know things happen that are outside of your control that may affect your picnic experience. In the case of rain or extremely wet weather, you have the option to make alternate arrangements with us at an indoor location or reschedule the event to another available date free of charge. This accommodation must be requested 12 to 24 hours in advance.
*We reserve the right to issue a full refund, and cancel the event for any reason.
This Policy uses the term “Event” to refer to the following situations that occur after booking, are unforeseen at the time of booking, and prevent or legally prohibit completion of the reservation. This would result in a full refund to you.
Changes to government travel requirements. Unexpected changes to your visa or passport requirements imposed by a governmental agency that prevents you from traveling to your event's destination. This does not include lost or expired travel documents or other personal circumstances relating to your authorization to travel.
Declared emergencies and epidemics.
Government declared local or national emergencies,epidemics, pandemics, and public health emergencies, which prohibits and or restricts the event at the planned location, and such event cannot be adapted to lawfully accommodate such prohibition and or restriction.
Government travel restrictions.
Travel restrictions imposed by a governmental agency that prevent or prohibit you from traveling to, staying at, or returning from the event's location. This does not include non-binding travel advisories and similar government guidance.
Large-scale outages of essential utilities, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and other severe and abnormal weather events. This does not include weather or natural conditions that are common enough to be foreseeable in that location—for example, wildfires in California during summer season or hurricanes occurring during hurricane season in Florida.
What is not covered.
This Policy only allows for cancellations for the Events described above.Everything else is excluded. Examples of situations that this Policy does not allow cancellations for include: unexpected disease, illness, or injury; government obligations like jury duty, court appearances or military duties; travel advisories or other government guidance (that fall short of a travel ban or prohibition); cancellation or rescheduling of an event for which the reservation was made; and transportation disruptions unrelated to a covered Event like road closures, as well as flight, train, bus and ferry cancellations. If you cancel a reservation in these cases, the amount refunded will be determined by the cancellation policy (listed above) that applies to the reservation.
